Parkstad Limburg Theaters

Three theatres run as one organisation: Heerlen, among the largest houses in the Netherlands and the flagship of the group; Kerkrade, smaller and turned towards music, as befits a town whose international choral and wind competition is a fixture of the European calendar; and the Toon Hermans Theater in Sittard, named for the cabaret artist and inclined towards his art. Together they present more than seven hundred productions a year across dance, drama, music, cabaret and family work — the broadest offer in the southern Netherlands. In 2024 the organisation was named Theatre of the Year in its category.
