Stadthalle Gifhorn

Gifhorn opened its Stadthalle at Schützenplatz 2 in 2006: a theatre hall of 538 seats with full stage machinery, a multipurpose room of 850 square metres that can be divided, a studio stage, two conference rooms and a foyer with two bars. It is run as Stadthalle Gifhorn GmbH under the town's tourism company, with about a dozen staff and outside contractors for catering. The programme is touring theatre and opera, musicals, dance, comedy, cabaret, children's shows, and trade fairs and congresses in between.
