Stadthalle Oberursel

At the foot of the Taunus, just beyond Frankfurt's northern edge, Oberursel is a commuter town with a preserved half-timbered centre and a hall that must serve every civic purpose at once: carnival, assemblies, trade events and concerts share one diary. Proximity to Frankfurt's concert life determines what the Stadthalle programmes — familiar repertoire, brought by touring companies, at prices set for a local audience rather than a metropolitan one.
