Stadthalle Stadtlohn

Inaugurated in 1970, in the same municipal building push that gave Stadtlohn a triple sports hall and a new secondary school after the district reform of 1969, the Stadthalle on Dufkampstraße takes between 700 and 1,000 people. Its steadiest use is the touring-theatre subscription that this western Münsterland town runs jointly with neighbouring Vreden: four productions a season, two played here and two there, booked through the town hall. Companies such as Theaterlust and the Tournee-Theater Thespiskarren supply the programme, and school reunions, concerts and civic gatherings fill the rest of the year.
