Asude Karayavuz

For the gala concert of the 16th International Istanbul Opera and Ballet Festival on 10 May 2025, Asude Karayavuz sang with the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra, alongside Erdem Erdoğan, Perihan Nayır Artan, Nazlı Deniz Süren and Li HuanHong. Trained at the state conservatory of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul and afterwards at the Mozarteum summer academy and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, she studied with Leyla Gencer, Mirella Freni and Luciana Serra. Carmen, Adalgisa, Suzuki, Rosina and Isabella are among her stage roles, beside concert music by Ravel, Beethoven, Mozart and Pergolesi. She recorded the Countess in Mercadante's I due Figaro under Riccardo Muti and Publia in Rossini's Aureliano in Palmira.
