Gleisy Lovillo

Vigo and Torrent were the Spanish stops at which Gleisy Lovillo sang with the State Opera Rousse in 2008, in a company that also brought Petya Tsoneva, Vladimir Popov, Stilian Minchev and Plamen Beykov to those stages. Gleisy Lovillo is a mezzo-soprano whose performances in Spain have included Rossini and Bizet. In 2006 she sang Modestina in Il viaggio a Reims at the Ópera de Oviedo, in Mariame Clément's production conducted by Álvaro Albiach. She was also announced among the singers sharing the title role in Ópera Romántica's Carmen at Madrid's Teatro Compac Gran Vía in 2010, a production directed by Carlos Bosch with flamenco choreography.
