He has sung for Riccardo Muti, Carlo Rizzi and Daniel Oren, and in productions by David McVicar and Damiano Michieletto. At the Sofia Opera, he appears in Falstaff, La traviata and Madama Butterfly. His Bulgarian seasons have run alongside Nayden Todorov's between 2003 and 2023, from Nabucco in Burgas to the same opera at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv. At the Academy of Music he graduated in the class of Ilka Popova, learned much besides from Pavel Gerdjikov, and later worked in Milan with Adriana Stamenova; he sang Don Giovanni while he was still a student.
