Miroslav Christoff

Miroslav Christoff's voice is preserved on two Music Minus One albums of operatic arias, made with the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra in 1999 — a tenor's road map through Rigoletto, Ernani, Macbeth, Turandot and L'elisir d'amore, issued so that other singers could rehearse against a real orchestra rather than a piano. "Questa o quella" and "Mercè, dilette amici" stand at the head of the Verdi volume. In the same year he sang a gala of Verdi, Puccini and Donizetti with the Plovdiv players. Nayden Todorov conducted the recordings.
