Biography
Epworth wrote Skyfall with Adele in 2012 and produced the recording — cut at Abbey Road with a large orchestra for the fiftieth anniversary of the Bond films — and shared the Academy Award for best original song with her. Born in Bishop's Stortford in 1974, he made his name in the mid-2000s producing guitar bands, among them Bloc Party's Silent Alarm and Maxïmo Park's A Certain Trigger, both shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. His work on Adele's 21, including Rolling in the Deep, brought the Grammy for producer of the year, non-classical, and a share of album of the year; he has also produced Florence + the Machine, Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Glass Animals. He bought The Church Studios in Crouch End in 2013 and released an album of his own, Voyager, in 2020.
