Ralica Bogdanova

Heard in September 2020 in the twentieth Raina Kabaivanska master-class gala at the Sofia Opera, Ralica Bogdanova afterwards joined Alexandrina Pendatchanska and the Pleven Philharmonic on tour with the programme This Is Me, singing it in Koprivshtitsa, Yambol, Pleven, Burgas and Varna. Bogdanova took up the violin at the age of six and studied at the Dobri Hristov music school in Varna, then with Prof. Mario Hosen at the National Music Academy in Sofia. She continued in Munich at the University of Music and Performing Arts, studying violin with Prof. Linus Roth and singing with Prof. Andreas Schmidt. Alexandrina Pendatchanska began coaching her in opera singing in 2020. Since 2021 she has played a Riccardo Genovese violin lent to her by the Albert Einstein Foundation in Germany.
