Violetta Radomirska

Violetta Radomirska has sung as a soprano with the Sofia National Opera, the company she is attached to, from 2006 into the 2020s. She graduated in singing from the National Academy in Sofia and joined the International Opera Studio in Zurich in 1999, appearing at the Zurich Opera in Salome, Ernani, Rigoletto and La belle Hélène under Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Nello Santi, Valery Gergiev and William Christie. From 2002 to 2006 she belonged to the company of the Lucerne theatre, in Carmen, Die Zauberflöte and Dido and Aeneas, and from 2004 she sang leading roles at the opera in Biel, among them La Cenerentola, La clemenza di Tito, Tancredi and L'italiana in Algeri. She recorded Wolf-Ferrari's Le donne curiose with the Munich Radio Orchestra in 2012, and in 2013 sang Verdi's Requiem in Lucerne and guested in Aachen in Ariodante.
