Boxer

Boxer is the fourth track of Evolution, released on 15 September 2017. The album was recorded in Stockholm the previous summer with Anders Bagge producing, and Anastacia has described its sound as soul, pop and rock combined rather than kept in separate compartments. Boxer sits among the harder-edged songs on the record, built on a guitar riff and a repeated one-word hook. The album was her seventh studio release and the first since Resurrection in 2014, which followed her second treatment for breast cancer.
