Concertpiece for two clarinets and orchestra
- Composer
- Michele Mangani
Michele Mangani, born in Urbino in 1966, is a clarinettist and conductor who has written a large body of music for his own instrument and for wind band, published mainly by Eufonia and Scomegna. The Concertpiece for two clarinets exists in parallel versions with piano, with concert band and with orchestra, and has become a standard duo test piece in Italian conservatories and competitions. It is a single movement that alternates a slow cantabile section with a fast one, keeping the two clarinets in close thirds for much of its length.
