The Aula Uniwersytecka in Poznań is the ceremonial and concert hall of Adam Mickiewicz University, adjoining Collegium Minus. Designed by Edward Fürstenau for the Royal Academy, the complex was completed in 1910. The Polish university inaugurated its activity in the hall on 7 May 1919. The approximately 1,000-seat interior has a barrel vault with paintings added by Wacław Taranczewski in 1947 to replace wartime-damaged decoration. It serves university ceremonies and concerts and has been a regular venue for the Poznań Philharmonic and the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition.
