Paducah stands where the Tennessee joins the Ohio, a short way above the confluences of the Cumberland and the Mississippi — the four rivers that give this hall its name. Formally the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center, it is the principal performing arts house of far western Kentucky, raised on local philanthropy and used for touring opera and musical theatre, orchestral concerts, dance and the civic occasions of a river town.
