The Schlosspark forms the historic centre of the Bavarian state spa at Bad Brückenau. Development began under the prince-bishops of Fulda in 1747 and was completed in 1780, with the principal garden features designed by Andrea Gallasini. Terraces below the Fürstenhof and a chestnut-lined axis descending towards the Sinn preserve the park’s Baroque plan. The formal gardens form part of a larger landscape of spa buildings, orchards and wooded grounds, also used for cultural events.
