The municipal theatre in Thionville presents concerts, drama, dance, comedy and performances for young audiences. A major renovation began when the building closed in 2010; it reopened in September 2012 with a thousand-seat auditorium and renewed performance facilities. Its stage is supported by individual and collective dressing rooms, and designated wheelchair spaces are incorporated into the auditorium. The theatre’s programme brings visiting artists and productions to the city throughout the season.
