After the Gymnasium Frechen she qualified as a state-certified educator. In 2001 she sang with the band Tuesdays as support for the Schlager singer Michelle, and the 2002 selection took her to Kiel. Her Anni-Frid has since 2000 passed through several ABBA tribute formations, including the dinner show ABBA Royal for World of Dinner, and her song Wenn du willst was taken up by Corinna May. Since 2009 she has taught at the Musikschule Frechen, in early-years and elementary music education.
