Фернандо Кордейро Опа

Studies at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon and then at the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in Padua stand behind Fernando Cordeiro Opa's double career as singer and teacher. A finalist at the Belvedere Competition in Vienna, the Portuguese tenor won the Prima Scrittura Città di Firenze competition in 1994 and has sung lyric and character tenor roles in Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti and Puccini in Italian and international theatres. He teaches singing in Italy. Don Ottavio, Count Almaviva, Ramiro and Nemorino are among his roles, with contemporary opera and sacred music beside them. At the Rome Opera he appeared in Semiramide and Turandot in 2005.
