Die Nacht der 5 Tenöre

Reviews

The 'Five Tenors' stirred up the audience, gently and sensitively accompanied by the Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Bulgarian maestro Nayden Todorov, whom Jon Lord, a former member of the hard-rock band Deep Purple, praised as a 'fantastic young man' and who made a successful debut at the Vienna Volksoper in 2010 with The Nutcracker.

The Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra, under Nayden Todorov's agile direction, not only accompanied the singers with verve and a luxuriant sound from the strings and winds, but also contributed purely orchestral pieces.
