Tenor
Biography
Vincenzo Sanso's earliest documented appearance was in Dominique Probst's opera Maximilien Kolbe at the Meeting di Rimini in 1988, conducted by Gianfranco Rivoli; he took part in the work's first recording two years later, which the Accademia della Musica Lirica afterwards recognised. Since then the Italian tenor has been bound above all to The Night of the Five Tenors, a touring production presented in the major German concert halls, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg among them, with Rigoletto, Turandot, Tosca, Aida and Carmen in the programme, sung beside Luigi Frattola, Orfeo Zanetti, Daniel Damyanov and Emil Pavlov and accompanied by the Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra. Nayden Todorov has conducted him on many of those evenings.
