Bayasgalan Dashnyam

Bayasgalan Dashnyam joined the Sofia National Opera as a soloist in 2002 and has also appeared with companies in Ruse and Burgas and abroad at Solothurn, in casts that have included Alexander Krunev, Stilian Minchev, Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova and Elena Baramova. Born in Ulaanbaatar, she came to Bulgaria to study singing in 1986 and graduated from the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music in 1994 from the class of Konstantin Karapetrov, attending Ghena Dimitrova's masterclasses between 2001 and 2005. Her roles include Turandot, Tosca, Cio-Cio-San, Lady Macbeth, Abigaille, Santuzza and Bruennhilde in the Ring.
