Paolo Bartolucci

Don José, Cavaradossi, Canio, Pollione and Turiddu make up the centre of Paolo Bartolucci's repertoire, which extends from Puccini, Verdi and Bizet to Italian opera that is played less often. He studied with Nazzareno Antinori, Gianni Raimondi and Romano Emili and has been placed in Italian competitions. Tosca took him to the Netherlands in 2010 and Carmen through the Netherlands and Belgium in the autumn of 2011; he sang Pollione for Buenos Aires Lírica in 2012 and gave a concert in the ancient theatre at Plovdiv in 2015.
