Stoyan Findjikov

For Stoyan Findjikov 2002 was a Puccini year: La bohème in Plovdiv, and then a long British tour of Tosca that took in Woking, Stoke-on-Trent and Milton Keynes. A tenor and composer from Panagyurishte, Findjikov took his first solfège lessons with Yulia Bogoeva and is carried among the singers of the Sofia Opera, cast in its Turandot. On 26 June 2015 he gave a concert of ten pieces of his own, classical, jazz-rock and folk in idiom, in the large hall of the Dom-pametnik theatre in Panagyurishte, with the pianist Ruslan Pavlov and the Philippopolis string quartet, and sang operatic arias in the same programme.
