Takako Okazaki Massaro

Two Italian towns, San Gimignano and Massa, heard Takako Okazaki Massaro in 2003 with the I.C.O. Symphony Orchestra and Choir, on bills that also carried Ventseslav Anastasov, Daniela Ruzza, Rubens Pelizzari and Nicolina Stoyanova. A lyric soprano and singing teacher settled in the Veneto, Okazaki Massaro has taught privately there, and younger Italian singers name her among their voice teachers. In March 2024 pupils of hers sang at the Residenza Pio XII, accompanied by the pianist Franco Massaro.
