Biography
Nesheva made her debut in 2000 as Gilda at the State Opera Stara Zagora and has been a soloist of the company ever since. She trained in opera singing at the Pancho Vladigerov State Academy of Music in Sofia with Mila Dyulgerova and Pavel Gerdzhikov, and afterwards worked in masterclasses with Raina Kabaivanska, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Maty Pinkas and Elisabeth Linhart. A special prize at the Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin competition and a laureate's award at the Svetoslav Obretenov national competition in Provadia came early. Her roles include Susanna, Rosina and Micaëla, and her repertoire runs through Mozart, Verdi, Bizet and Puccini, with operetta and vocal-symphonic work alongside it; in concert she has sung Handel's Messiah and Mozart's Requiem. Guest engagements have taken her to Germany, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and the United States.
