Биография
Alex Magri worked with the I.C.O. Symphony Orchestra & Choir through its 2004 Italian season, taking solo parts at Volterra, Seravezza, Montagnana and Todi among other towns. Violeta Velcheva, Milena Ivanova, Eugenia Vassileva and Ventseslav Anastasov were on stage with him across those dates, and at Arezzo he appeared alongside Silvia Dalla Benetta, who was also listed as an alternate Gilda at Montagnana. Born in Bergamo, he came to singing after a degree in philosophy, studying at Milan's Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory with Rosetta Crosatti and later with Isabella Crisante, and he took second prize at the Tito Gobbi competition in 2002. Rodolfo, Alfredo and the Duke of Mantua are among the roles in his repertoire, and he sang Pong in Turandot at Lucca in 2003 and Goro in Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Regio in Parma in 2005.
