Jivko Peychev

Two Puccini operas mark Jivko Peychev's early 2000s: La bohème, which he sang in Plovdiv in March 2002, and a touring Tosca that took him to British theatres the same spring, with performances in Woking and Stoke-on-Trent. He also appeared with State Opera Stara Zagora on its American tour in 2005. He belongs to the chorus at Plovdiv and takes character parts as well, among them the Officer in Il barbiere di Siviglia in the co-production the Sofia and Plovdiv companies gave in Sofia in March 2023.
