Bucharest — City of Music: Verdi in… His Purest State!

A powerful opening with Verdi's opera Stiffelio — a very little-known opus, its score lost after the 1850 premiere and rediscovered 110 years later… Just as in the European Union, we enter this operatic project 'hand in hand' with the Bulgarians: Nayden Todorov — conductor, and Kamen Chanev — tenor… The National Orchestra — very precise; the Academic Choir — impeccable… A very successful subscription concert.
