Lay All Your Love on Me

Lay All Your Love on Me appeared on Super Trouper in 1980 and was issued as a single only in 1981, and only as a twelve-inch, which made it the best-selling record in that format in Britain to that date. Its organ-like synthesiser chords and pulsing bass line put it closer to the dance floor than anything else ABBA recorded, and it became a club staple long after the group had stopped working. Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad share the lead vocal in close harmony throughout.
