Money, Money, Money

Money, Money, Money was released in 1976 on the album Arrival, with a cabaret-styled arrangement Benny Andersson has connected to the music-hall manner of Weimar Berlin. Anni-Frid Lyngstad sings the lead alone, one of the few ABBA singles where the two women do not share it. The lyric is spoken by a woman working nights for nothing and dreaming of a wealthy man. It reached number one in Australia, Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands, but stopped at number three in Britain.
