Voulez-Vous

Voulez-Vous was recorded in part at Criteria Studios in Miami in January 1979 with American session musicians, the only time ABBA worked outside Stockholm, and the rhythm track from that session survives in the finished record. It gave its name to the album released that spring. The lyric is set in a nightclub and consists largely of the French title phrase, a device the group used to avoid a narrative. In Britain it was issued as a double A-side with Angeleyes.
