Vivere

Vivere was written by Gerardina Trovato, who recorded it in the early 1990s and sang it with Andrea Bocelli in 1994; Angelo Anastasio and Celso Valli share the writing credits on the version that spread beyond Italy. The song entered the international repertoire through Bocelli's album Romanza in 1997 and was recorded again in 2008 as Dare to Live, a duet with Laura Pausini, with an English adaptation by Eugenio Finardi. A Spanish version, Vive ya!, followed. It has since become a standard of the crossover tenor concert.
